How Well Do We Know Our Teachers?

This week is get to know your teacher time? As teachers we get to know a lot about
our students, their families, their hobbies, likes/dislikes etc.

How well do you know your teacher?

This may require a bit of work. You may need to ask your teacher some of these
questions to find out.

1. What schools did your teacher go to when they were growing up?

- St Clair Primary, Tahuna Intermediate, Otago Boys High School.

2. What is your favourite thing about your teacher and why is that important
to you? - Mr Foster, has been my best teacher in all of my school years, I feel like he has

made me a different person.


3. What does your teacher enjoy doing when they are away from school?

- Going to the beach, and hanging out with friends and family.

4. What made them want to be a teacher?

- Because he gets to meet people like us.

5. What is it about your school that your teacher likes the most?

-Because all the teachers and nice and friendly.

6. Why are you his/her favourite students?

-I think that because, I'm the class leader and being the class leader he would push
me, doing bigger things at Casebrook Intermediate School.

7. If your teacher could do another job what would it be and why?

- He would have his own business.
- Why? Because he could be the owner, of the company.

8. What do you think your teacher would be great at if they were not a teacher?

-Sports, I feel like he would be good at rugby, and more Sports like that.

9. Why do you think it is important that you get to know your teacher?-

- So we know a bit more about him, so that he's just not like our teacher.

10. If you were your teacher what would you do differently to make your
classroom better? - To go out for PE more, and do more outside activity's.
